This single line encapsulates the successful journey of Acme Universal Safezone 9 Private Limited, over the past 27 years.
Beginning in 1994, in the culturally rich city of Gwalior, the first challenge Acme faced was the lack of safety awareness in India. The demand-supply matrix simply did not exist for safety shoes. Over the years, Acme has not just addressed this imbalance, but through its pioneering efforts, played a major part in building the industry itself.
Today ACME has a production capacity of 4,000,000 pairs per annum, the HIGHEST in India. Right since the start, we have continued to break new ground with innovative offerings and over the past decade have expanded to six different locations manufacturing industry-based safety footwear, being headquartered in Mumbai.
We consider quality to be more than conformance to product specifications. Products are manufactured at our ISO certified plants on state-of-the-art equipment, sourced from around the world. In order to provide the highest levels of safety, quality raw materials are procured from specialized suppliers. These standards are consistently adhered across our wide product range.
Our in-house R&D facility and customer-centric vision, creates unique solutions that deliver safety along with comfort, looks, durability and economy. We recognize new trends early and contribute towards shaping them ourselves.
We have set our footprints by exporting in container quantities to Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Israel, Bahrain, Cambodia, Qatar, Dubai, Kenya and Tanzania. Furthermore we have a close collaboration with Majestic Safety Products & Services, Azomo GmbH, Hercules GmbH, and Rocky. There is an entire range of offerings designed for specific geographies across the globe.
Acme has been awarded with the prestigious 'Make In India' Award by the Govt of India and has also been recognized as ‘India’s Small Giant’.
